​Matthew Marino, PT, MSPT, CPE, CSCS, TSAC-F graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelors in Rehabilitation Science and a Masters in Physical Therapy. He is the owner of Optimum Performance Services, LLC based in Portland, OR and the Director of Ergonomics and Human Factors for HeroWear, LLC, based in Nashville, TN. He provides ergonomic consulting, return to work, rehab and strength conditioning services, and is also a volunteer First Responder.

​As a PT, Matt has worked in a variety of healthcare settings from inpatient care to outpatient sports rehab. His ergonomics consulting work along with his design, testing and implementation of exoskeleton technologies for augmentation, injury prevention and return to work purposes has made him a sought after consultant and educator. He is a member of the ASTM F48 Committee on Exoskeletons, ASTM Exo Technology Center of Excellence, WA Department of Labor & Industries Exoskeleton Advisory Committee, and Wearable Robotics Association. He has supported clients in multiple industries including logistics, manufacturing, wholesale and retail trade, utility, construction, office settings, and tactical operations, among others.​When he is not helping people live healthy and optimize their performance, Matt loves outdoor activities, spending time with his kids, family and friends, traveling, teaching, reading and learning.

Borislav Marinov

​Bobby has been a trailblazer in promoting the gospel of exoskeleton technologies by founding Exoskeleton Report in 2015. Bobby has a Bachelor in Science in Bio-engineering and Pre-Medical from the University of California, San Diego. Exoskeleton Report is recognized as a central, independent and impartial hub for exoskeleton news and resources. He is also a member of ASTM F48 Exoskeleton and Exosuits Committee and WeaRA.

​Employed by Thermo Fisher Scientific, he provides project management and practical process improvement for the Operations Department. Bobby has published exoskeleton-related articles in Forbes and is well recognized in the community as an advocate for Exoskeleton education and promulgation. With his no-nonsense  and “anti-hype” approach, Bobby has had a significant impact on improving the outreach efforts related to exoskeleton technologies in the United States.  When he isn’t writing, Bobby enjoys time spent with his partner and business associate Tri Dao, travel and vegetarian dining.

Velin Dimitrov | Lead Systems Consultant

Dr. Velin Dimitrov received his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Northeastern University in 2017. He currently works with TRI, Cambridge and supports NSS VT LLC as our corporate Systems Consultant on a project-need basis. Velin adds innovative applied robotics engineering RDT&E dimension to our portfolio. NSF I-Corps certified, he understands the importance of understanding user requirements and defining the consumer space, enhancing our ability to transition technologies to market.

​Velin received his Bachelors of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering in Needham, MA, and his Masters of Science in Robotics Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. As part of his work in the Robotics and Intelligent Vehicle Research (RIVeR) Laboratory, Velin has been involved in NSF-sponsored research on developing a semiautonomous wheelchair for physically locked-in individuals, DARPA funded research working with the ATLAS humanoid robot for the DARPA Robotics Challenge, and participated in two NASA RASC-AL Robo-Ops competitions and two NASA Sample Return Robot Centennial Challenges. When he’s not focused on his daily TRI Engineering activities, Velin enjoys lectures, teaching, travel, fine dining and family activities.

Gabriel is an LSU class of 2023 Computer Engineering and Pre-Law candidate with interest in the gaming industry, computer development, political science, and technology policy and special projects. He has been supporting NSS VT LLC since 2013. His ability to understand math and scientific concepts, have made him a valuable team member, in particular supporting the NASA Sample Challenge competitions, where he not only provided on-site technical support, but offered analytical observations to the judging staff.
